The Tide® Annual Golf Benefit provides a great way to make a global impact for Christ while also participating in a pleasurable hobby. This year our golf outing will take place on  June 15 .  This will be the 39th consecutive year for The Tide international radio ministry to host this event at the Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. Over the years, The Tide Annual Golf Benefit has earned the reputation as a great event that is popular among golfers of all ages and skill levels. A few hours of golf for you can help provide eternal hope for others! This benefit will be a scramble and will kickoff with a shotgun start at  8:00 AM  on the Founder’s course. The cost per golfer is $85 if registered before May 22 or $90 if registered after. The cost covers the green fess for 18 holes of gold and a golf cart. He is Risen! This simple phrase – so full of hope and promise - is something we most often hear as an Easter greeting, but it is a very meaningful expression of faith and a testimony that we should constantly be declaring to one another and to the world. According to Paul, in his letter to the Romans, the resurrection is a powerful proclamation that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the Son of God! (Rom. 1:4) This is the foundation on which Paul builds his gospel message of hope and new life for all who confess Christ as Lord and believe that He is risen. I praise God that not only have you personally responded to the call to belong to Jesus Christ, but in grace, and with generosity you have been helping The Tide ministry fulfill the mandate to ’call all people from among the gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.’ (Rom. 1:6)  Thank you for helping us give people the opportunity to know Jesus as their risen Savior who they will one day see! The Tide® global radio ministry  is celebrating 70 years of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing peace and transformation to the people of  Kosovo  and other nations around the world. How many people do each of us walk by every day who do not know Jesus? The Tide® global radio ministry is encouraging Christians to share their faith with just 10 people over the next year. “Jesus expects all of His disciples to tell others about Him and His love for them, but too often we don’t make intentional efforts to do this,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “Through a presence at the ‘Stand Strong’ Tour and other Christian events, The Tide ministry is reminding people to speak up about Jesus, by urging them to accept our “Have You Heard?” challenge. Earlier this year,  The Tide®  global radio ministry launched its first Albanian-language Gospel radio program, and now more growth is underway. Already, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is making an impact in this predominantly Muslim nation. “Without  The Tide  ministry’s programs, people in  Albania  and neighboring  Kosovo  may have never heard about God and his love,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “We are so thankful that people are writing to us about how they are being touched by Jesus and His saving power. While The Tide’s one program in Albania airs two days a week, the ministry’s goal for 2016 is to air its two other Albanian-language programs a second day each week as well. The Tide® global radio ministry has been working in India for almost 40 years, and currently produces Christian radio programs in seven languages there. However, there are still many more people to reach with the messages of Jesus Christ. “The Tide ministry recently unveiled its 2016 expansion goals ,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “And one of those important goals is to initiate a radio program in the Telugu language, spoken by 74 million people in India . While a church group is working to plant churches among the Telugu people in remote villages, The Tide ministry hopes to assist them with a Christian radio broadcast in their own language so they can hear the saving message of Jesus Christ in the language they were born to speak.” Read More

Christians face religious persecution in more countries than any other religious group, according to a recent study by the Pew Research Center. The media has been covering the attacks on Christians in the Middle East for some time now, but there have also been attacks on Christians in India, most recently in the southeastern state of Odisha. People in Albania are now learning about—and being touched by—Jesus and the gospel messages from The Tide® global radio ministry and its Albanian-language programs, launched in early 2015.  Andi, a police officer in Albania , wrote to The Tide ministry to say that he listens to the Albanian-language radio program at work and at home. Andi had experienced a pressing family problem, and he and his wife were desperate for a solution. Read more...

The Tide® global radio ministry launched gospel radio programming in Albania earlier this year, and already, hundreds of lives are being changed by the messages of Jesus Christ. Said one Albania bank teller, Albert, of the programs, “It helps me to understand more about God and my life with Him. One day I really felt the need to pray, and I prayed with the pastor after the program. God helped me. Before the fall of Communism, government leaders in Albania destroyed churches, temples and mosques, and even removed the word “God” from dictionaries. Yet people in Albania and neighboring Kosovo are now learning about—and being touched by—Jesus and the gospel messages from The Tide®  global radio ministry and its Albanian-language programs, launched in early 2015. In 2012, The Tide®   global radio ministry, which produces heart-language radio programs that tell people about Jesus in the language they were born to speak, set an aggressive goal to introduce programming in 15 new languages by the end of 2015. The Tide ministry is now closing in on that goal, titled Vision 2015, having successfully added nine new languages as part of the initiative, with two additional new-language programs in development.
