I did not know anything about the Lord. There were many problems in my life. When I started listening to 'Ujjna Gahi Dahare' radio program in my own language in 'Kurukh' through the servant of God in my neighborhood, since then there has been a change in my life. After listing to the word of God and through prayer, I have been relieved from my personal problems. Now I also believe in the Living God. Kindly continue to uphold me and my family in your prayers. - Tirkey
I am a new listener and it is my first letter to you. Last month I got a chance to listen to this 'sShanti Data' radio program on Sunday evening. I belong to a non-Christian (Hindu) family. My family and all the villagers are non-Christians. I like this program very much. I want to know more about Jesus christ. Please send me some helpful literature. - Pritikh
I listen to your 'Shanti Data' radio prgram with great joy. I have completed your 12 Bible lessons and got a beautiful certificate and a New Testament. After reading the books, I realized that I am a sinner and only God can give me forgiveness. I conffessed my sins before Jesus and accepted HIm as my Lord and Saviour. I am a regulare listener to the 'Ehpa Gatanju' (Kui language) program. I started listening to it almost two years ago. Your radio program gives me new strength, peace and joy. When I listen to the word of God, it touches my heart and leads me on a right path. A few months ago I had repented for my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I am a regular listener to your radio broadcasts in 'Odia' and 'Hindi' languages. I listen to 'Shanti Data' (Odia broadcast) and 'Aap Ke Liye' and 'Nav Jeevan' (Hindi broadcasts). I believe in Jesus Christ. Sometimes I get scared and worried becase in my family and neighborhood no one believes in the Lord. I have taken some loans and because of that I was mentally sick for some time. I have no father. Please pray for me that I would be able to repay my loan and get rid of my bad habits. - Hira

Christianity Is Unwelcome in Pakistan, But People Need the Hope of Jesus

The nation of Pakistan is overwhelmingly influenced by Islam, with 98.86% of the population Muslim, 0.88% Christian and 0.26% Hindu. But, for those who do not follow the Muslim traditions, life can be difficult. In early 2020, we began broadcasting the Good News of Jesus Christ in two languages in Pakistan—Pashtu and Saraiki. “Today, thanks to a partnership with the Pakistani Christian Recording Ministry, The Tide ministry is helping to air two programs every week for these people groups,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “The programming not only reaches new believers in Christ who have very few Christian resources in Pakistan and little to no support system, but also potential believers who have yet to hear what Jesus has done for them. Tharu People in Nepal Share Life Change Because of The Tide® Gospel Radio Programming

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.— Christians in Nepal face many challenges American believers may never experience: being shunned by families, excommunicated from communities or even criminally charged because of their faith in Christ. Regardless of the dangers of being a Christian in Nepal, many are encouraged by the hope that Gospel programming from The Tide® ( www.thetide.org ) global radio ministry brings. Since 2004, The Tide ministry has broadcast programming in Nepal.
