Friends of The Tide in Canada Give Generously to The Tide Vision 2015


Every year in the spring The Tide hosts a couple of promotional dinners in Canada.  The primary goal of these annual dinner events is to personally connect with and express appreciation to friends of The Tide who support our radio ministry.  Without these generous brothers and sisters to join hands with The Tide through their financial support there would be millions of people who may never hear the Gospel message in their own language.  The dinner programs also provide the opportunity to introduce new friends to The Tide ministry and hopefully inspire them to join hands with us in creatively sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ worldwide through media and partnerships.

This year the Canadian dinners were held on the evenings of May 10 and 11 at Port Colborne and Oak Ridges respectively.  Those who attended enjoyed a meal together followed by a presentation by Don Shenk, Director of The Tide, who gave an overview of the full scope of The Tide Vision 2015 and an update on progress that has been made so far towards this comprehensive vision.

The Tide Reaches Listeners in Albania Who Aren’t Afraid to Share the Gospel

The Tide   has heard touching stories of what it’s like for Christians to live in a Muslim-majority country. After listening to The Tide Gospel radio programming, one listener in Albania shared her powerful testimony. Director Don Shenk reports that Ida, a university professor, recently told the ministry that she regularly listens to a Tide radio program and talks about Christianity with her students. “I listen to Radio 7 all the time, and the broadcast has literally changed my life,” Ida shared. “I’m a university professor, and I believe God has placed me in the midst of students to make a difference for God’s Kingdom. I often share my faith with my students and encourage them to search for God and know Him.” Ida’s brave decision to share her testimony with her students can actually be a dangerous one. The Tide 36th Annual Golf Benefit The Tide© Annual Golf Benefit provides a great way to make a global impact for Christ while also participating in a pleasurable hobby.  This year our golf outing will take place on June 19.  This will be the 36th consecutive year for The Tide international radio ministry to host this prestigious event at the Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, where we hold the record as the golf benefit held for the longest number of consecutive years at that location.  This event, held on the Founder’s course at Penn National, is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 AM and will be limited to the first 128 golfers to register.  Advance registration and payment is required, and the cost is $90.00 per golfer with a $5.00 discount if registering before May 19.  The registration fee covers the green fees for 18 holes of golf and a golf cart.  Complimentary refreshments are available at various locations around the course and a
