35th Annual Golf Day Success

Praise God for the success of The Tide© 35th Annual Golf Benefit!  On June 20th, nine faithful volunteers showed up in the early morning hours to set up and prepare for the busy day. At 6:30am, the 115 golfers started to arrive for registration, coffee, and pastries.  The shot-gun start went off at 7:30am cuing all the anxious golfers of the start of a day full of fun, fellowship, sportsmanship, and prizes.  As a result, approximately $18,000 was raised toward the cost of The Tide international radio broadcasts and ministry expenses.  During the “summer slump” when regular giving generally decreases it can be quite difficult to continue to faithfully provide for the expenses of The Tide international heart language radio ministry.  The Tide Annual Golf Benefit is one avenue the Lord has used to provide an extra summer blessing during the last 35 years.

The Tide Golf Benefit would not be successful without both a full field of golfers, and a slate of generous sponsors.  We want to express a big Thank You to all who participated in the event! Zimbabwe’s Pastors Share Hope of Christ Amid COVID-19 Restrictions

Churches around the world are experiencing social distancing measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and worship centers in Zimbabwe are no different. In fact, Zimbabwean pastors are at an even greater disadvantage because they may not have the technology to broadcast virtual services or recorded sermons. The Tide 36th Annual Golf Benefit The Tide© Annual Golf Benefit provides a great way to make a global impact for Christ while also participating in a pleasurable hobby.  This year our golf outing will take place on June 19.  This will be the 36th consecutive year for The Tide international radio ministry to host this prestigious event at the Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, where we hold the record as the golf benefit held for the longest number of consecutive years at that location.  This event, held on the Founder’s course at Penn National, is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 AM and will be limited to the first 128 golfers to register.  Advance registration and payment is required, and the cost is $90.00 per golfer with a $5.00 discount if registering before May 19.  The registration fee covers the green fees for 18 holes of golf and a golf cart.  Complimentary refreshments are available at various locations around the course and a
